About the Role
Gather and analyze data from various sources to support business planning and strategy development. This includes financial data, market trends, and operational metrics.
Build and maintain complex financial models to support project evaluation, financial planning, and investment decisions.
Assist in the development and execution of the company’s strategic plans, including long-term business plans, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the company’s performance against strategic goals and objectives.
Assist in preparing and reviewing all documents related to fundraising activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze data for financial reporting.
Support the preparation of presentations and reports for investors, stakeholders, and management.
Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and project performance.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required.
Continuously strive to develop your knowledge and skills further.
Engage proactively with colleagues both in your team and cross functionally in order to make improvements and further develop the Business Development function.
Perform any additional duties related to the above mentioned duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by your manager.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field. MBA is an added advantage
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the renewable energy sector or working at an investment firm
Proven experience in financial modeling and analysis.
Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of the energy sector is a plus
